This man may not be pleased with Census question 54 -- How many registered motor vehicles owned or used by residents of this dwelling were garaged or parked at or near this dwelling on Census Night? -- which, according to one SHM letter writer, 'tells us to exclude motorcycles but not vehicles such as trucks'.
The letter writer goes on to say that the question 'ignores choice for environmental or congestion reasons. It assumes those who choose to be motorcycle owners belong to a low socio-economic group and can't afford a car'.
I agree but I don't really care. What does trouble me is that this man is sad because his two-wheel friend won't be recognised next Tuesday.
p.s. I assume question 54 is not the one where you put 'Jedi' or 'Horse whisperer savant illusionist with an addictive personality'.
